„Streuobstwiesen für die Zukunft“ – BzB 3 nimmt am Bundes-Umwelt-Wettbewerb 2023 teil

Am 30.11.2022 startete die Klasse des BzB in Wiesbaden mit ihrer Teilnahme am Bundes-Umwelt-Wettbewerb 2023. Die Klasse nimmt unter Leitung ihrer beiden Fachpraxislehrer Herrn Jäger und Herrn Dreisbach teil und bewirbt sich mit dem Projekt „Streuobstwiesen für die Zukunft“ im Rahmen des Lernfeldes Gartenbau. So führte die Reise am Morgen von Wiesbaden nach Guntersblum um die Obstbäume der Baumschule Heinrich in Bauschheim zu pflanzen. Streuobstwiesen besitzen eine große Bedeutung für das Landschaftsbild sowie den Naturschutz. In Guntersblum angekommen wurde die Gruppe per Traktor und Personenanhänger auf das Feld gebracht auf dem die Bäume ihren Platz fanden. Während der Pflanzaktion bekamen die SuS Information von Herr Dreisbach zur Baumpflanzung so z.B. zur Pflanzlochgröße, dem Wurzelschnitt, zum Erziehungsschnitt oder auch wie mit der Veredlungsstelle des Baumes umzugehen ist. Herr Jäger sorgte sich um den Einkauf der Bäume sowie der Verköstigung vor Ort. Nach getaner Arbeit ging es zurück nach Wiesbaden.

Das BzB 3 wird nun in den kommenden Wochen die benötigte Projektmappe erstellen, die für die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb erforderlich ist.
