Präventionstag: „Ohne Rauch geht’s auch!“

Mit großem Interesse wurde wieder einmal der Präventionstag „Ohne Rauch geht’s auch“ an der LSS angenommen. Spezialisten einer Krankenkasse machten die Schülerinnen und Schüler auf die Folgen des Rauchens aufmerksam.

Folgeschäden wie Lungenkrebs, weitere Krebsarten und Herzinfarkt wurden den Konsumenten bewusst gemacht. Raucher atmen mit jeder Zigarette mehr als 4.800 Chemikalien ein – enorme gesundheitiche Belastungen für die Atemwege!

In nur sieben Sekunden gelangt das Nikotin von der Lunge ins Gehirn – ein Gefühl der Leere und Unruhe stellt sich ein. Nikotin führt zu einer generellen Aktivitätssteigerung und einer geringen Verbesserung kognitiver Funktionen wie der Aufmerksamkeit und der Merkfähigkeit. Gerade junge Menschen sollten auf diese negativen Auswirkungen des Rauchens aufmerksam gemacht werden und bewusst zum Nichtrauchen angehalten werden. Für manche Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klasse 11 FO 09 war das Ergebnis der Messung ein großer Schock. Hoffentlich lernen sie etwas daraus.

Der nächste Präventionstag findet am 27.09.2019 statt – eine Prävention, die alle nutzen sollten!
